The labyrinth of Lada
Lada is an ancient Slavic goddess of beauty and love, embodying the nurturing forces of nature. Her attendants, the Ladarice fairies, left the earthly realm and settled among the stars, giving rise to the Pleiades or Vlašići. This labyrinth is a replica of the ancient Roman labyrinth discovered in Pula.
The labyrinth of Vesna
It is an enlarged replica of the labyrinth found in the Notre-Dame de Chartres Cathedral in France. Dedicated to the ancient Croatian goddess of spring, Vesna, she is the one who harmonizes the heart with the mind, beauty with gentleness. She is the springtime deity of the earth, draped in the garments of buds, flowers, grass, and leaves.
The labyrinth of Isis
Isis is the ancient Egyptian Mother Goddess who symbolizes birth, fertility, and the richness of the land, and is believed today to be represented by the Black Madonna. Since the parish church in Beli also houses a miraculous statue of the Black Madonna, the labyrinth dedicated to Isis is specifically in her honor. The villages connected by these paths are now completely desolate and abandoned, but they are fascinating like an open-air ethnological museum.
